It is not a legal guide for drafting a will, but is an educational resource on Portuguese succession law. If you are a resident in Portugal, foreign wills, by themselves, are not recognized here and Portuguese law will prevail on your estate. Our goal is to emphasize the importance of proper estate planning so that your assets are protected and distributed as you wish.
